Remote terminal
A feature of the Cloud and Studio plans and of the trial; two-factor authentication required.
On the computer
Konsolity on a Mac, a Linux PC or Windows shows in the My devices group of the Parc. Settings › Remote access is on by default: the computer listens on the Konsolity relay and authorises the active devices of the account by itself (each device has its own key, written to authorized_keys, removed on revocation).
On macOS, “Remote Login” (System Settings › General › Sharing) must be on; on Linux, openssh-server. The setting tells you and offers to open it.
On the phone
The computer is a host of the Parc with an online marker. One tap, Face ID or Touch ID, and the terminal opens. The connection goes through the local network when possible, otherwise through the relay: the relay only sees end-to-end encrypted SSH bytes, with short-lived signed tickets.
Mirror
The session opened from the phone appears live in the right panel of the computer (setting “Mirror remote terminals”), with a notification in the bell.
Failure reasons
The tab says why: computer offline, not listening, key refused, plan required, account to sign in again. The connection log keeps the cause.
