Claude connector
A feature of the Cloud and Studio plans and of the trial; two-factor authentication required.
Add the connector
In Claude (claude.ai or the app), add a custom connector with the address https://mcp.konsolity.com. Claude opens a consent page showing a XXXX-XXXX code: confirm it in Konsolity › Settings › Integrations › Claude › Confirm a code (the client name and the return address are shown). No password is asked on the web.
What Claude can do
list_hosts,list_sessions,list_snippets,list_devices: reads without any secret.run_command,run_snippet: the command reaches the desktop app, which shows “Claude asks to run a command”. Allow once runs it (short dedicated connection, pinned host key only, bounded output); refused by default after 60 s.
Always allow
Per authorisation you can tick Always allow for Claude: the commands of that client run without confirmation, with a notice in the bell and an auto: line in the log. Reversible any time.
Revoke
Settings › Integrations › Claude lists the authorisations; each can be revoked, or all at once. Removing the connector from Claude revokes too.
Privacy
The server relays requests encrypted at rest, purged after an hour; the vault is never read by the server; no command text is logged server side.
